Lesley Fleming

Cara Richardson

The Scottish Ladies Shooting Club is grateful to the following businesses and organisations for their support.

The seeds for the club were sown when Lesley Fleming and Cara Richardson met at a BASC Ladies Improver Day in September 2013.  Both agreed how great it was to meet and shoot with other ladies.  After meeting again at a BASC Ladies Game Day, we decided to start a club for Scottish ladies in November 2013 as ladies only events in Scotland were few and far between.

One of the main aims of club is to provide a format for ladies to meet other ladies who want to shoot and improve their shooting.  After putting on several successful events in 2014, we decided it was time to set up a website and Facebook page and get the word out to even more ladies. The Scottish Ladies Shooting Club is a non profit making organisation.

The club is not just for ladies who already shoot, as another aim of the club is to encourage as many ladies and girls as possible to give shooting a go.  You never know till you try, and smashing clays can become very addictive.

Lesley is passionate about Scottish produce, the countryside and outdoor pursuits.  As well as being a half gun on a local syndicate, Lesley loves to work her Labradors on shoot days.  She also enjoys shooting clays and taking part in club competitions.  Lesley is a keen stalker and is working on her DSC II.

Cara Richardson is passionate about hunting, fishing and shooting both game and clays.  She has been involved in Estate Management for a number of years, has a successful catering business: One for the Pot, and works with Peter Swales at International Big Game and Bird Hunting.  Cara is also undertaking the DSC II.
